The three day training program was held at the TCL TESDA Center located within the TESDA RTC NCR facility and welcomed 25 trainees. Participants underwent a balanced curriculum that covered installation, repair, and maintenance through a combination of classroom lectures and practical exercises. TCL's Product and Service teams also took part in the sessions, sharing valuable industry insights and real world expertise. Students gained hands on experience working with TCL split type air conditioning units and learned how to operate and service TCL's smart technologies, including the TCL Home App and Voice Command features. These specialized lessons prepared trainees to meet the demands of modern connected households while enhancing their technical capabilities.
Beyond technical training, TCL strengthened its enrollment to employment initiative by connecting participants with its internal team and authorized dealers. TCL partner Firstar, led by Pika Lee, supported the program through a learner profiling initiative and participation in a mini job fair conducted on the final day. The training concluded with a formal evaluation and certificate awarding ceremony, recognizing the trainees' newly acquired skills and readiness for the workforce. TESDA RTC NCR Center Administrator Eugene P. Agcaoili praised the partnership as an example of how public and private sectors can work together to create meaningful opportunities for skills development and employment. Through programs like this, TCL continues to invest in the future of Filipino technicians while helping build a stronger and more competitive workforce.
