As the hottest months of the year draw closer, households across the country are already bracing themselves for rising temperatures—and the equally daunting rise in electricity bills. Summer has long been synonymous with increased energy consumption, as families rely heavily on air conditioning to stay comfortable indoors. Yet for many, the decision to turn on the air conditioner often comes with a lingering sense of worry: How much will this cost at the end of the month?

This growing concern over energy expenses has reshaped the way consumers think about home cooling. Comfort is no longer enough; today’s households want solutions that are smarter, more efficient, and better aligned with their lifestyle needs. Responding to this shift, TCL—recognized as the Triple Global Top 1 TV Brand and the world leader in air conditioner sales—continues to push innovation forward with its latest lineup of intelligent air conditioning systems.

By combining advanced artificial intelligence, energy-saving performance, and thoughtful design, TCL aims to remove the stress from staying cool at home. Its newest models—FreshIN 3.0, VoxIN, and BreezeIN+—are designed to deliver consistent comfort while significantly reducing power consumption, allowing families to enjoy summer without fear of skyrocketing electricity bills.

A Smarter Approach to Beating the Heat

For decades, traditional air conditioners have operated on a simple principle: cool the room until a set temperature is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it. While effective, this method often leads to inefficiencies such as overcooling, uneven airflow, and unnecessary energy use. TCL’s answer to this long-standing issue is its proprietary T-AI Energy Saving Technology, an intelligent system that transforms how air conditioning works inside the home.

Rather than functioning as a static appliance, TCL air conditioners powered by T-AI continuously analyze real-time data—such as room temperature, outdoor conditions, and user behavior—to deliver cooling more precisely. The system dynamically adjusts compressor speed and airflow, ensuring that the unit uses only the energy required to maintain comfort.

The result is a cooling experience that feels effortless and intuitive, while helping households reduce electricity consumption by up to 37 percent. For families preparing for long, hot days ahead, this innovation offers both immediate relief and long-term savings.

“Our T-AI technology transforms air conditioning into a truly intelligent experience,” says Bert Cheung, Deputy Director of AC Product Operation and B2B Business. “Rather than simply reaching a set temperature, FreshIN 3.0, VoxIN, and BreezeIN+ learn your patterns, anticipate your needs, and provide comfort in the most efficient way possible. From reducing unnecessary energy use to maintaining a consistent, pleasant indoor climate, T-AI makes running an AC stress-free, convenient, and economical, especially for families preparing their homes for warmer months.”

Intelligent Cooling That Learns and Adapts

At the core of TCL’s air conditioner lineup is the idea that true comfort goes beyond temperature control. It involves air quality, noise levels, airflow direction, and how seamlessly the appliance fits into daily life. T-AI Energy Saving Technology acts as the brain behind these considerations, constantly learning and adapting to user habits.

Over time, the system recognizes patterns—such as preferred temperatures at certain times of the day or when rooms are most frequently occupied—and fine-tunes performance accordingly. This means less manual adjustment for users and fewer instances of wasted energy.

By preventing overcooling and optimizing compressor operation, TCL air conditioners help create a more stable indoor environment. Instead of sudden blasts of cold air or frequent on-off cycling, the cooling remains smooth, consistent, and comfortable—an experience that feels noticeably different from conventional systems.

FreshIN 3.0: Intelligent Cooling Meets Cleaner Air

The TCL FreshIN 3.0 series takes intelligent air conditioning a step further by prioritizing not only cooling efficiency but also indoor air freshness. In many homes, especially those that remain closed for long periods during the hottest months, stale air can quickly build up. FreshIN 3.0 addresses this issue through smart fresh air circulation, ensuring a healthier and more pleasant living environment.

Powered by T-AI technology, FreshIN 3.0 automatically manages both airflow and fresh air intake based on indoor and outdoor conditions. The system evaluates factors such as humidity, temperature, and air quality to determine the most efficient way to keep rooms cool and refreshed without excessive energy use.

This intelligent balance allows households to enjoy cleaner air while keeping electricity consumption in check. Supporting features enhance the overall experience, including a Quadruple Noise Reduction System that reduces

A man of faith with an inspiring life story – That is Carl Pascua in a nutshell.

Since he was young, Carl has dreamed of becoming an inspiration to others. And now that he has found his voice and the perfect platform, he is able to do exactly that. He is a senior pastor at a small independent church in Cabanatuan, who also works as a professional host and singer. “I’m doing that to finance our church,” he says. “90% of the Adventist po kasi ay mga students, so, we don’t have a strong source of finances because we are an independent church.”

Carl has always been close to the youth, both in his past career as a college instructor, and now in his present role as pastor. Coincidentally, it is through the young people of his church that Carl first learned about TikTok. He shares, “Sa church ko po, yung mga young people, nagti-TikTok po sila ng nagti-TikTok. So ako naman , natutuwa ako sila kasi sumasayaw sila, nagsasama-sama sila, nagkakaisa sila. After ng Sunday service, magpapractice na sila. Pati ako, nakiki-practice.”

He started out on TikTok just for fun, but now he makes an effort to upload every day. And while the message and purpose of each video comes first, Carl makes sure to add fun and wacky parts to all of his posts. This way, his content doesn’t come off as too serious or boring, while still staying true to the core messages and moral lessons he wishes to impart.

One of his recent videos talks about second chances which is a great example of the kind of content that Carl puts out. In a way, it also echoes his very own life story.

In his youth, Carl got mixed up with an organization that was involved in illegal activity. This caused him to lose sight of his dreams and want to quit schooling. “Until, I saw the eyes of my parents. That broke my heart,” he shares. “Nung nakita ko po sila, the first time na parang nakikiusap sila sa akin na ituloy mo yung buhay mo. Sana wag kang mapagod na mangarap kasi sa’yo lang din kami umaasa para sa pamilya natin, so I continued studying. Nandito na po ako ngayon na natututo sa pagkakamali.”

A commenter once asked Carl how he is able to stay so positive, and he says that the question made him feel vulnerable. “I became so honest. I went through so many ups and downs in my life and that is the fuel that gives me motivation to do what I do.”

To those who are struggling in life and in faith, Carl says just hold on. “Kapit lang! To survive each day, they just fight every battle, kahit isang battle lang at a time, and just be positive that one day, everything will make sense. And I hope, the process of them just waking up each day and fighting each battle one step at a time, they will understand that there’s someone bigger holding their lives, someone bigger holding the world and that is the reason why they are capable of continuing the fight, and it’s God. And through that process, sana, magtiwala ulit sila kay Lord and ma-redeem po nila yung faith na meron sila.”

Earlier this March, the Ghen Cô Vy (English Version) was released in response to a recent PSA from Vietnam which has turned coronavirus caution into a grooving choreography to inspire hand sanitation.

TikTok users are joining the #HandwashTunes challenge to encourage people across the globe to wash hands the right way.

TikTok, the leading destination for short-form mobile video, has partnered with Conservation International, to launch the #SaveOurOceans challenge. Conservation International works around the world to protect oceans and marine ecosystems – and the people whose lives and livelihoods depend on them.

The challenge spotlights the critical role of the world's oceans and what we can do to protect them for future generations.

As a platform for creativity, TikTok users can show their support for ocean conservation through their short videos and raise awareness to protect our oceans for a better future.

From August 26 to September 9, TikTok users can apply an ocean effect that lets them virtually "clean plastic" out of the ocean. For every video uploaded with the hashtag #SaveOurOceans, TikTok will donate $2 to Conservation International to help save 3,000 square kilometers of ocean (up to $100,000). #SaveOurOceans is a global campaign and users from countries and regions including: the US, the UK, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, India, Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Turkey, MENA, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Chile can participate.

Join Shailene Woodley, Chierald Tan and TikTok creators around the globe to help #SaveOurOceans:

The ocean-themed challenge comes at a time when the world is grappling with a global plastic pollution situation. The UN estimates that the ingestion of plastic kills 1 million marine birds and 100,000 marine animals each year. Scientists predict that the weight of ocean plastics will exceed the combined weight of all of the fish in the seas by 2050.

“TikTok's global community allows users to showcase and enjoy creative, everyday moments through video. We’re thrilled to partner with Conservation International on the #SaveOurOceans challenge, which empowers our community to creatively show their commitment to clean oceans and raise awareness for the importance of protecting a global resource,” said Bryan Thoensen, Head of Content Partnerships, TikTok.

"By 2050, there will be more plastic than fish in the world’s oceans. TikTok offers an imaginative platform that has the power to both educate and inspire users to take action. That's why we are partnering with TikTok and its global communities to address one of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges and together, inspire a creative, call to action around protecting our oceans for a better future," said Conservation International Chief Marketing Officer Anastasia Khoo.
